Summary: Outdated, very poor quality
Comment: This is not really a book, so much as a bunch of pamphlets put together. The chapters seem to be completely independent of each other, resulting information being repeated 3-4 times and some information being completely contrary to information provided in other chapters. The book claims to offer test prep, but the test prep offered is for the old Phase 1 test, the FBI has a new phase one test it is completely different. The authors also seem to believe the readers are not very smart, giving explanations to ideas and concepts that are completely common sense. The quality of the book is also very poor as writing on the pages isn't straight, like the pages were copied or scanned by hand, one page at a time. Very disappointing, Amazon should drop this book from their product line because the quality is very poor, the information is outdated, and the material isn't original, photo copies of handouts and pamphlets. This book is of no use for someone trying to study for the phase 1 test.

Comment: The book itself is well researched and explained, however this edition will not longer be useful. One of the main focuses of this book the logic/math test is no longer used in the FBI application process.

Summary: Useful but disappointing.
Comment: Bought this book hoping for some useful information on the type questions asked phase 1 and phase 2 Special agent testing portions. This book appears to be a collection of police tests or practice exams strung together in sort of a mismatched manner. There is no table of contents or Index. There is no sample interview questions, there are no common pitfalls or other useful suggestions. Some of the sample tests might be relative to the phase 1 test, and the writing refresher at the back of the book should be useful for the phase 2. However I think people will find more benefit in studying LSAT Logical Reasoning questions off the internet.

Comment: This book is great. It contains so many different tests that I would recommend it to anyone. It has more of a college paper feel as it is bound with plastic clips, but don't let the looks and feel fool you. It is well prepared and worth buying to prepare you for the FBI tests. One of the better books for career prep that I have purchased and I have purchased many.
