Summary: What a Waste of Time!
Comment: I managed to get through the first 100 or so pages of this book, and for that alone, I probably deserve a medal. I was hoping to find a manual of non-medicinal cures for specific ailments, but instead, what I found was page after page of what appears to be the insane ramblings of a crazy person. I agree with the author that the pharmaceutical industry is not warm and fuzzy, and that it exists only to make money--just like every other industry. Nonetheless, I do not believe that the pharmaceutical industry and the FDA are in cahoots to bankrupt and jail everyone who markets a natural treatment, nor are they in cahoots to poison every person in America. It is clear that the author is anti-restaurant, anti-artificial sweetener, anti-fluoride, pro-organic food, pro-colon cleanse, pro-fasting nutjob. It is also clear that he, just like the pharmaceutical companies, is in business to make money, since his book constantly directs the reader to his website. Since I am not yet ready to start growing all my own food (to avoid being poisoned),do regular fasts, give up all medical care, and let my teeth rot out from lack of fluoride and treatment by a holistic dentist, I am not even going to finish the book. Save your time and money and don't buy this.

Comment: While there is a smidgen of useful information in this book - I found it to be a rambling rehash of his problems and it seemed like everything pointed to his paysite if you wanted any real information. I do not doubt that he has had problems with the government as he promotes things that are decidely against the corporate agenda but then just write a book about that and leave this to be about natural cures. ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY unfortunately. IMHO.

Comment: If Kevin Trudeau wrote this book as a research paper for any respectable university course, the paper would receive an automatic F. And that's if he was lucky enough to not get expelled. How on earth do you write book with out doing proper research, checking your facts, and citing your sources? The author gives medical advice to people with serious life threatening conditions, and doesn't provide any citations to the claims he makes. On top of that he has absolutely no medical training.

Kevin Trudeau towards alternative medicine is just like Kent Hovind towards Young Earth Creationism. Don't bother with his nonsense.

Comment: I bought his books, Natural Cures "They" don't want you to know about. As well as Weight loss & More Cures...
It was mostly a waste of money. His rants are tiring. I know how to scan-read, so I can skip over things I have already read.
The reason he deserves one star, is that there are a few things you can do & go find people not affiliated with him to get the products you want. If you did everything he wants, you would spend an awful lot of money doing it all!

But, he says try to eat in a more pure way. I have been doing that for a while. Identifying the chemicals can be troublesome, & he identifies a few to avoid. He suggests filtering your water. That isn't a new idea, but okay.

I learned on my own, by accident, how to cure an ulcer (not GERD, but a real ulcer caused by stress, pills & worsened by the bacteria H pylori). I DID have to use an acid reducer, I chose prilosec. I was bad, I hardly ever ate breakfast & would take Tylenol & OTC allergy meds on an empty stomach. Plus the stress of being unemployed. I was on prilosec for a month & ran out. The pain immediately came back. I went back on prilosec & had started eating breakfast every day, if only cereal & milk. Then, I caught a cold. In my head, & my throat. I have always used Halls lozenges with zinc & Vit. C, & Echineacea. I have always believed zinc helps shorten throat irritations for me. I actually took too many, & kinda over dosed on the zinc. I tasted it for a week after I stopped! But, the next time I ran out of prilosec, the pain did NOT come back!
At about that time, I was watching Dr Oz. & his segment was on natural cures, & he mentioned a few things that would kill the H pylori, so your stomach lining could heal. One was zinc! The other was Pepto Bismol, honey, & cranberries. So, my suggestion would be, drink cranberry juice spiked with the PROPER dose of liquid zinc, available in all health food stores. And then, eat breakfast every day!

So, doing the organ cleansers are a good idea, taking acidolphous (sp?) & digestive enzymes is a good idea. Taking your vitamins is a good idea, AFTER you go to a doc & find out what your levels are. Reducing stress, GREAT IDEA! We should all do that! Water purifiers, great idea. Massages? Sure?, They can't hurt! Eating organically? You bet, it is a good idea. There is 90% of the good info in his books, right there in one small paragraph.

I will be giving my books away, as the little bit of helpful info will be in my notes. I will not fall prey to his website.

Truly, go to a library, my books will be going there soon. Don't pay this guy for common sense. It is a waste of your money, & PLEASE don't fall prey to his website!

Comment: He has been indited by the Federal Trade Commission, just do a google search! He takes a few vague bits of information that sounds like the truth and twists it into a profit making machine.
