Summary: Truly amazing! Great advice.
Comment: Again and again the book delivers great advice. I cannot imagine anyone who could regret reading this book. Again and again the book surprised me with how it helps the reader understand what is behind each interview question and how to best address the question and how to ace the interview and actually how to ace ANY interview and get the job.

Summary: Loved it!
Comment: This covers 450 questions with a frank, clear approach. I am a teacher and found that at least 80% of the questions could relate to teaching interviews. Good all around interview book, particularly for the price!

Summary: Good book for interviewing...
Comment: Well this book was a very good book for interviewing and asking the "tough" questions... Some people (introverts (most likely) will have a difficult time trying to perform some of the things in the book. The book did contain many helpful hints and wonderful ideas.
If the reader is shy, they may have a difficult time putting these tactics in play, but I highly recommend this book to anyone going in an interview situation, it gives wonderful tips on what to expect.

Summary: Great tips, concise and to the point
Comment: Usually interview books are boring or too easy that say the same old things. This book give you energy and teach you how to think. It also have a little section for my husband to read and guide him how to support me in this process.
Very useful for job interview. He has points to support why he think we should act in certain ways. He made everything concise,so, you wont be reading 5 stories just to understand an idea.
Wonderful book, I would recommend it for not for interviewee but an useful skill for daily life.

Summary: Good review of the culture of the current business job market
Comment: I bought this book as I was preparing to go on my first round of interviews as a medical resident searching for my first real job as an independent physician. I think the book is clearly (and understandably) geared more towards those in a business-like profession--e.g. marketing, advertising, finance, consulting, etc. I think the most helpful part of the book is the beginning that talks about how transient we have all become in the job market, the personalities of the types of people you may interview with and how to "wow" them and what they have at stake in hiring (or not hiring) you, different types of interviews (panel interviews, series of interviews, etc.), how to be aggressive in pursuing opportunities in the discovery and actual interviewing phases, etc. I think the book was particularly good at how to address "rough spots" in your work history with honesty and grace. I also think the book is helpful in teaching you to think from the interviewer's perspective. I think everyone who is interviewing for a new job could benefit by spending some time with this book as clearly most of us do not interview frequently and can always use some brushing up on how to approach various interviewers and situations, how to address difficult questions, and to review some of the types of questions that may be asked in order to brainstorm some good answers before the fact--especially in this economy and brutal job market we all need to make the most of each potential job possibility.
